Gristedes and D’Agostino Supermarkets To Distribute Edible Garden Products’

Edible Garden Salad Kit

Edible Garden announces expansion of its distribution with Gristedes and D’Agostino supermarkets. Edible Garden products will be sold in 29 of their combined locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Westchester. Products will include all varieties of potted herbs, hydro basil, butterhead lettuce, and cut herbs in bags to preserve their freshness. New branded displays will be set up with the products at strategic locations within the stores. Edible Garden’s CEA facility is located in close proximity to the two retail supermarket locations, and pick, pack, and ship time will be 24 hours or less. Using proprietary technology packaging, we will be offering cut herbs in bags rather than in the traditional clamshells, which extends the product’s shelf life by 50% or more.

According to a recent announcement by Edible Garden AG Incorporated, the grocery chains Gristedes and D’Agostino will offer Edible Garden goods in 29 of its combined stores in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Westchester. Additionally, Edible Garden will collaborate with its procurement teams to choose the ideal SKU mix for each of the retail locations. All variations of 4″ potted herbs, hydro basil, butterhead lettuce, and all sorts of cut herbs in bags to preserve their freshness.
