SERBA Dinamik Sdn Bhd has strengthened its presence in the Middle East by signing a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with the United Arab Emirates as reported by the Malaysian Reserve. The MoA signed on May 19 will focus on three areas: Vertical farming, infrastructure/ property development, and integrated solutions for the Oil and gas industry.
Serba Dinamik Group MD and CEO Datuk Mohd Karim Abdullah said that only a few high-tech industry players are familiar with vertical farming and its technology, and the company is eager to take advantage of this opportunity.
“It’s a knowledge that is available in the market. It’s just that we have to integrate the technology and we have to get the necessary funding to roll out those things in a commercial manner.
“So, we would like to be one of the leading players who understand the technology and who have the network to connect it to the respective financial institutions and also investors, to join hands together to make this food security a successful program in the respective countries that we are working on at the moment,” he said in a press statement today.
The company, reputed for its solutions for the oil and gas industry (And listed in the Malaysian stock exchange under the ticker symbol SERBADK) believes that given the low penetration rate of the industry (only a handful of solution providers), they can benefit from the market’s current growth phase to further the development of their company especially in the middle-east region as the region is one of the most active in the past few months.
