The Agrarian Group, LLC and VerifyMe, Inc. (NASDAQ: VRME), which offers brand owners time and temperature-sensitive logistics, supply chain monitoring, authentication, and data-rich customer interaction, have agreed to a mutual sales referral agreement. The Agreement is set up to enable both businesses to earn more money while also advancing food safety and consumer loyalty. To address the expanding connection between water, energy, and food security, TAG specializes in education that is centered on next-generation agriculture.

Chief Executive Officer of VerifyMe Patrick White said, “One of VerifyMe’s key growth initiatives is the food sector. We are thrilled to announce this new strategic partnership with The Agrarian Group, which combines the capability of our PeriShip Global business to carry perishable food with our innovative food safety technologies. We think that the food supply chain will be increasingly affected by advanced indoor farming and that TAG and our collectively granted patents and trade secrets put us in a good position to ensure that food safety and sustainability go hand in hand with food access, shipping, and affordability in the United States and around the world.”

Charlie Szoradi, president of the Agrarian Group, said, “Working with VerifyMe to establish a new paradigm for next-generation agriculture has a lot of potential, in our opinion. VerifyMe QR codes on food packaging may now be scanned quickly and easily on smartphones by consumers. Since they can easily access information on everything from marketing to product sourcing and temperature control, there is an improvement in food safety, as well as a trust-based boost in customer loyalty.”
