In a significant move towards advancing sustainable agriculture, Syngenta Biologicals, a leader in innovative agricultural biological solutions, and Intrinsyx Bio, a Silicon Valley biotech company specializing in sustainable agricultural practices, have announced a groundbreaking collaboration. This partnership aims to bring a novel biological solution to agricultural markets worldwide, promising substantial benefits for farmers and the environment.

Boosting Farmers’ Access to Advanced Endophyte Formulations

The collaboration is set to significantly enhance farmers’ access to Intrinsyx Bio’s proprietary endophyte formulations. Endophytes, small microorganisms living within plants, play a crucial role in fixing atmospheric nitrogen directly into the plant. This process increases the availability and uptake of key nutrients such as phosphorus and various micronutrients essential for plant health. As a result, the need for synthetic fertilizers is reduced, giving farmers greater flexibility in managing nutrients and lowering the environmental impact of farming practices. The formulations will be available as seed treatments and foliar applications for key crops.
