The Story of iGrow News
Around 2015, Herbert H. Kliegerman came across a property in the Midwest and began exploring ideas to repurpose it meaningfully. In the process, he discovered the emerging world of indoor farming — a concept that intrigued him for its innovation and potential.
After discussing it with his wife Andrea, the two envisioned a platform to track and share the development of this nascent industry. That idea became iGrow News: a website dedicated to curating and disseminating the latest information on indoor and controlled-environment agriculture to both stay informed and educate future generations.
This foundational vision of accessible, forward-looking AgTech content remains central to our work today.
