CIBO Technologies Bolsters Primient’s Regenerative Agriculture Scale-up
CIBO Technologies announced a multi-year strategic partnership with Primient, a producer of plant-based ingredients. The collaboration is designed to accelerate the adoption of regenerative farming practices and significantly reduce Scope 3 emissions within Primient’s supply chain. This marks the second major strategic partnership for CIBO Technologies in 2026, signaling a rapid expansion of its climate-tech footprint.
Primient, which has supported sustainable farming since 2018, will leverage the platform to monitor corn acres across its procurement network. By integrating CIBO’s data, Primient aims to build long-term supply chain resilience while providing its customers with verified sustainability metrics.
Scaling Enrollment Through the CIBO Technologies Trusted Advisor Network
A central component of this partnership is the reduction of manual data burdens that often hinder conservation efforts. Through the use of proprietary modeling and remote sensing, CIBO Technologies can verify practice adoption, crop performance, and soil health without requiring exhaustive manual inputs from producers.
“In order to support a more resilient supply chain, we need reliable agricultural emissions data without imposing a heavy data collection burden on farmers,” said Laura Kowalski, Head of Sustainability & Marketing at Primient. “With CIBO Technologies, we can better support farmers as they adopt regenerative agriculture practices and build a more resilient supply chain.”
Primient will also gain access to the CIBO Technologies Trusted Advisor Network. This network connects small and large retailers across the country to provide the technical and agronomic support necessary for farmers to successfully transition to new management practices.
Advanced Modeling for Scope 3 Emissions Reporting
The partnership ensures that all environmental claims remain scientifically rigorous. CIBO Technologies provides ongoing monitoring to align Primient’s reporting with evolving international standards, including the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) Forest, Land and Agriculture (FLAG) guidance. This level of verification allows for clear, auditable progress toward corporate decarbonization goals.
“With CIBO Technologies, Primient can demonstrate how regenerative agriculture programs deliver impact and strong ROI across its supply chain,” said Sunand Menon, Executive Chairman and CEO of CIBO Technologies. “Through our proprietary modeling and AI, we can deliver clear, actionable insights to drive data-driven decisions and scale adoption.”
Expanding Impact Across the Midwest
The program is specifically targeting growth in Illinois, Ohio, and Indiana. By streamlining the verification of cover crops and low-tillage systems, the partners expect to see a measurable increase in participation across these key agricultural states in the coming year.
