Beewise Secures New Investment to Support Global Bee Protection

Beewise, the climate technology company behind the autonomous beehive system BeeHome™, announced the close of a $50 million Series D growth investment. The round includes participation from Fortissimo Capital, Insight Partners, APG Asset Management, lool Ventures, Badiya Capital, Marav Mazon Group, and Austin Hearst (Tom Horne). This brings Beewise’s total capital raised to nearly $170 million.

The new funds will be used to further technological development, market expansion, and research initiatives, as Beewise continues its mission to improve pollination outcomes and secure the global food supply.

AI-Powered BeeHome™ Offers Real-Time Treatment and Monitoring

Beewise’s flagship innovation, BeeHome™, uses artificial intelligence and solar-powered robotics to actively monitor and treat beehives. Unlike previous sensor-based monitoring systems, BeeHome enables real-time autonomous intervention, helping to protect colonies from threats like pesticides, climate-driven stress, and pathogens.

Currently, 1,240 BeeHomes are in operation, each using machine learning to track hive health metrics. Beekeepers can also remotely manage hives using the platform’s software from mobile or desktop devices, contributing to improved colony health, crop yields, and biodiversity.

“This financing round is a testament to our business momentum and validates our position as a global leader using AI to tackle one of humanity’s most pressing issues: declined pollination due to the global collapse of bee colonies,” said Saar Safra, CEO and Co-Founder of Beewise.

Investors See Long-Term Opportunity in Pollination Tech

Investors expressed confidence in Beewise’s technology and impact: “Beewise captured our attention early on with a bold vision and the technology to support it. Since then, the company has made exceptional progress,” said Yoav Hineman, Partner at Fortissimo Capital and Beewise board member.

Daniel Aronovitz, Managing Director at Insight Partners, added: “What Saar and the Beewise team are building has global implications for the environment, food chain, and so much more. Insight is proud to continue our partnership in this next chapter.”
