Dalsem Partners with Harvest Singularity on Florida Greenhouse Project

Dalsem has announced a partnership with Harvest Singularity to develop a 3-hectare high-tech lettuce greenhouse in Newberry, Florida. Construction is expected to begin in May 2026 and represents the first phase of a broader strategic collaboration between the two companies.

The greenhouse is designed specifically for Florida’s warm and humid climate and aims to meet modern horticultural standards. Once operational, the facility will supply the U.S. market with locally grown, pesticide-free lettuce.

Charles A. Garza, CEO of Harvest Singularity, said: “With Harvest Singularity, we are taking an important step toward realizing our vision of local and scalable food production. Dalsem’s innovative design, extensive experience and strong project management are decisive in turning this ambition into reality.”

Integrated Design and Technology

From the initial concept stage, Dalsem and Harvest Singularity worked together to create a customized design aligned with operational and financial objectives. The project is positioned as the first step in a broader rollout of multiple greenhouse developments.

All core components are designed and manufactured by Dalsem to ensure full system integration and consistent quality. The facility will include Dalsem Air Technology 2.0, advanced cooling systems, LED grow lighting, and a mobile NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) gutter system optimized for high-yield, year-round lettuce production.

Frank van der Gelt, CEO of Dalsem, said: “Together with Harvest Singularity, we are building the future of sustainable food production in the United States. This project is a strong example of how Dalsem works: close collaboration, Dutch technology designed and manufactured in-house, and an unwavering focus on quality. We are proud to be entrusted with this project.”

Industry Partnerships Support Production Chain

The project also involves collaboration with several industry partners. American Hydroponics will supply the NFT growing system for lettuce and leafy greens. JASA Packaging Solutions will design and build the packaging line, while TTA-ISO will provide automated farming equipment, including transplanters and harvesting systems.

According to the companies, this integrated approach is intended to create a scalable and efficient production chain capable of supporting year-round supply to the U.S. market.
