DUTV Expands Reach with First African Deployment
Digital Utilities Ventures, Inc. (OTC: DUTV), a company specializing in regenerative agriculture and water technologies, has announced a $3.4 million contract to deliver two Easy FEN™ systems to Northern Africa. The contract marks the first deployment of these American-made units outside the U.S. and establishes a self-sustaining model for regional fertilizer production and soil regeneration.
The Easy FEN™ modular systems will convert up to 35,000 tons of food waste and biomass annually into 5.4 million gallons of Terreplenish®—a 100% organic microbial fertilizer. The technology enables year-round, local production of liquid inoculants capable of treating up to 2.7 million acres of farmland each year.
Terreplenish®: A Biological Alternative to Chemical Fertilizers
Terreplenish®, DUTV’s proprietary microbial solution, is the product of over 100 independent validation studies. It delivers up to 60 pounds of nitrogen and 20 pounds of phosphorus per acre while improving soil health, reducing water usage by as much as 20%, and increasing resistance to plant diseases. Unlike chemical alternatives, Terreplenish® promotes long-term soil restoration and environmental sustainability.
“With this contract, DUTV is delivering a transformational solution for African agriculture while generating strong revenue growth for our company,” said Mark K. Gaalswyk, CEO of DUTV.
U.S.-Monitored, Locally Operated Systems
The Easy FEN™ units will be remotely monitored from the U.S. to ensure optimal performance. Manufactured through DUTV’s Easy Modular Manufacturing subsidiary, the systems offer a revenue-generating model for operators, who can recoup their investment through the sale of the high-value liquid fertilizer.
This development supports DUTV’s strategy to provide climate-smart agriculture solutions that contribute to food security while building sustainable business ecosystems in emerging markets.
DUTV’s Easy FEN™: Addressing Agricultural and Economic Challenges in Africa
Africa’s reliance on imported synthetic fertilizers has exposed farmers to price volatility and high input costs. DUTV’s Easy FEN™ systems aim to reduce these dependencies by offering an environmentally sound and locally produced alternative. The initiative aligns with broader efforts to combat food insecurity and land degradation across the continent.
“This initiative is more than just a contract—it’s a model for how technology can address food insecurity, climate challenges, and economic development simultaneously,” Gaalswyk added.
