Gripp Secures Funding to Advance Digital Solutions for Farm Management

Gripp, a mobile-first agricultural operations platform, has raised $1.5 million in pre-seed funding to expand its market presence and accelerate product development. The round was led by Ag Ventures Alliance, joined by Two Ravens, Infinity Holding Ventures, C2 Ventures, Tundra Angels, Countryside Angels, DMM Holdings, and Glen Haven Farms, Inc.

Since its launch in 2023 through the DIAL Ventures studio at Purdue University, Gripp has gained traction among over 70 agricultural operations and recorded zero customer churn—a notable indicator of early product-market fit.

Addressing Operational Complexity with a Mobile-First Approach

Gripp provides farmers with a QR-enabled mobile platform that tracks daily activities, manages equipment, and preserves operational insights without the need for complex installations or expensive hardware. The system is designed to be simple and frictionless, enabling real-time communication and information capture across teams.

“We are proud to be meeting farmers in the field and building exactly what they need,” said Tracey Wiedmeyer, Co-Founder and CEO of Gripp. “The overwhelming response from our early customers shows we are solving a real pain point for farmers.”

Spencer Stensrude, CEO of Ag Ventures Alliance, added, “Gripp is solving a real problem for farmers. Gripp could be on every farm in America.”

Funding to Gripp’s Support Expansion and Industry Partnerships

The pre-seed capital will be used to enhance product features based on direct farmer feedback, expand sales and marketing efforts, and build strategic partnerships with agricultural stakeholders. The goal is to improve farm profitability and efficiency while addressing workforce transition challenges.

“Gripp exemplifies our mission to bring practical innovation to the field that solves real problems,” said Allan Gray, Executive Director of DIAL Ventures. “Their approach to preserving operational farm knowledge while simplifying day-to-day management addresses a critical need.”
