Moleaer, an international leader in nanobubble technology, has announced the appointment of Hoshang Subawalla to the newly created role of Chief Business Officer. This development aligns with the company’s aggressive commercial growth and expansion strategy.
Subawalla, a seasoned professional in the global water treatment industry with experience spanning over 18 years, will be responsible for shaping Moleaer’s commercial strategy and driving revenue growth as the company expands its operations geographically and into new market segments.
Nick Dyner, CEO of Moleaer, warmly welcomed Subawalla, expressing optimism about his timely arrival during this critical phase of the company’s growth. In addition, Dyner highlighted the recent installation of the company’s 2,200th nanobubble generator, a significant milestone underlining the rising global interest in nanobubble technology and Moleaer’s dominance in this sector.
“We are thrilled to welcome Hoshang at this pivotal time in Moleaer’s growth,” said Dyner. “With the global interest in Moleaer’s nanobubble technology expanding from a range of industries around the world, we are fortunate to have someone with Hoshang’s experience leading global teams, delivering solutions to diverse customers from multiple verticals.”
Customers utilize Moleaer’s proprietary nanobubble generators across more than 50 countries to lessen their water, chemical, and energy consumption. To meet the growing demand, the company recently announced the inauguration of an assembly facility in Spain, enhancing its manufacturing capability.
Moleaer’s successful $40 million Series C financing round last year, led by funds managed by Apollo (NYSE: APO) and supported by Husqvarna, a strategic partner, and existing investors, brought the technology company’s total funding raised to $61 million.
Expressing his enthusiasm for joining Moleaer, Subawalla underscored the importance of innovative technologies in addressing climate change challenges faced by industries reliant on water.
“Nanobubble technology is one of those breakthroughs that have the potential to truly revolutionize how water is used across hundreds of applications in dozens of critical industries,” said Subawalla. “I’m honored to join Moleaer’s leadership team because they are leading this charge forward with their proprietary solutions, and I’m excited to play a role in helping to expand its transformative technology for use around the world.”
Subawalla brings a wealth of experience to Moleaer, having previously held roles at Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions and GE Water and Process Technologies. He began his career at Air Products and holds three degrees in chemical engineering, including a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.
