Trina Semenchuk is a Biosystems Engineer-in-Training passionate about transforming controlled-environment agriculture. Based in Manitoba, she leads Little Greenhouse That Could, a venture dedicated to making Winnipeg—and Manitoba—a global leader in vertical and indoor farming,

She works full-time as a Mechanical Design Engineer-in-Training while pursuing a master’s in Biosystems Engineering, focusing her research on energy modeling to track and optimize energy use in indoor farms.
Trina frequently speaks at conferences, such as moderating a Day 2 keynote panel at Indoor Ag‑Con 2025 in Las Vegas on “Trends in Canada: Insights from Leading CEA Growers Across the Nation”.
