Soli Organic, the only soil-based, indoor farming company delivering 100% USDA-certified organic produce, has hired Jeff Jackson as Chief Infrastructure Officer to drive growth and expand high-tech, soil-based indoor farms across the US. Jackson, formerly of Tesla and Samsung, will lead the building of new facilities, geographic expansion and facilitate innovation to support Soli Organic’s position as a leader in controlled environment agriculture.
Soli Organic Inc., the nation’s only soil-based, indoor farming company delivering 100% USDA-certified organic produce, has announced the addition of Jeff Jackson to its leadership team as their new Chief Infrastructure Officer. The move is part of Soli Organic’s ongoing commitment to attracting top talent from across innovative fields and continues to drive growth to become a leader in controlled environment agriculture.
Jackson’s appointment follows the recent closure of Soli Organic’s Series D funding round, which raised almost $125 million. With his extensive expertise in operations, engineering, and construction, Jackson will lead the building, geographic expansion, clean and low-carbon energy sourcing, scaled design, and facilitate innovation for the company. This will include driving the build-out of additional high-tech, automated, soil-based indoor farms in locations across the country, supporting the company’s position as a leader in innovative agriculture.

Soli Organic’s indoor farms provide a sure supply of fresh, nearby, sustainably grown produce, and technology allows them to provide quality organic produce consumers want at prices they can afford. With market demand continuing to rise, Soli Organic is gaining leadership as it expands its facilities in strategic locations.
Jackson spent more than seven years at Tesla, where he was most recently Director of Infrastructure, and previously held senior leadership roles in operations and facilities at Samsung Austin Semiconductor. He will leverage this experience to support the strategic development of Soli Organic’s high-tech facilities and infrastructure. This will include leading the completion of forthcoming facilities in Brooks, Texas, and Marysville, Washington, as well as identifying and building new site locations in proximity to markets in partnership with communities and local officials. Jackson will also play a central role in executing the company’s sustainability and clean energy sourcing strategies.
