The third Global Vertical Farming Show, or GVF 2022, concluded successfully on November 29 and 30 at the Welcome Hotel by ITC in Dwarka, New Delhi. Top-tier international businesses from a variety of industries, including those focused on Urban Agriculture, CEA, Vertical Farming, Protected cultivation, Hydroponics, etc., displayed their best technologies and solutions while exchanging ideas and networking with influential business leaders, important policymakers, and other knowledgeable enthusiasts.
Global companies like Qualiplast, InHydro, Kokosflora, Nutrifresh, Jain Irrigation, UrbanPONICS, Accenture, Grant Thornton, Simply Fresh, Futr.AG, Hindustan Agri, Brio Hydroponics, Urbinati, Multivac, KDS Coir Farms, Lumen Electric, and many more were thrilled to be exhibiting at the show, which was organized by TAB group.
Alongside the exhibition, GVF 2022 held a prestigious conference where important decision-makers such as Dr. Prabhat Kumar, Commissioner of Horticulture, Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture, India, Shri. S.K. Singh, Joint Director at National Horticulture Board (NHB), and Joint Secretary – Extension, Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, Investments & Price Support, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, participated. In their presentation, they shared policy updates and subsidies for horticulture in India. They discussed the causes affecting the new farming age, as well as other concerns and tech solutions, such as the world’s constantly rising population, food insecurity, food waste, climate change, and the demand for natural resources. Representatives from the sponsoring companies and other organizations demonstrated their services and solutions catering to Vertical Farming and urban agriculture in India.
The 4th Global Vertical Farming Show, which will be held in September 2023 in Dubai, was just announced by Tahir A. Bari, CEO & MD of TAB group, during his closing remarks at the conclusion of the Conference Sessions. He thanked all the key policymakers, participants, speakers, media partners, and other stakeholders who helped make this show successful.
