A new order was announced by Heliospectra AB (publ) (Nasdaq First North Growth Market: HELIO), for a US AgTech firm that offers farmers cutting-edge, long-lasting solutions for crop growth, pest, and disease prevention. The order is for the smart wireless solution from Heliospectra, which consists of the helioCORETM system, the Adelphi wireless connector, and the MITRA LED lighting solution. The data-driven wireless solution develops a networked lighting system that optimizes crop lighting conditions while offering growers substantial energy savings. The order is according to the company, worth USD 795,000.
The customer, based in the Northeast of the US, uses a combination of DNA-encoded libraries, AI, Structure-Based Design, and Machine Learning to give growers new tools for productive and sustainable crop protection against pests and diseases. All the while urging greater use of data-driven and cutting-edge technologies in agriculture.
The robust, high-intensity LED light fixture MITRA, the Adelphi wireless connector, sensors, and the helioCORETM control system are all included in Heliospectra’s new smart wireless solution. The system gives producers control, light automation, and significant energy savings while offering a high-quality light environment and higher crop quality. It also enables growers to construct growth zones, set DLI targets, and build and duplicate light plans throughout the growth cycle.
“Our new wireless data-driven solution allows growers to create a stable and sustainable light environment by automating light on a microclimate level. Customers gain substantial energy savings as the system supplies the crop with the right amount of light throughout the day while refraining from using the lights when not needed, for a stable, high-quality production year-round. I’m excited to see our new solution installed on a bigger scale, and I look forward to seeing what goals we can achieve together”, said Bonny Heeren, CEO, of Heliospectra.
