Vista Vineyards Establishes Integrated 52-Week Supply Platform
Vista Vineyards announced the launch of a leadership-owned table grape company designed to deliver consistent, year-round supply through integrated farming, packing, and sales operations. By coordinating production across California, Mexico, and South America, Vista Vineyards aligns harvest timing, varietal performance, and volumes to support uninterrupted retail programs.
Headquartered in Bakersfield, California, Vista Vineyards operates as a grower, packer, and shipper with proprietary licensed access to Sun World® and BLOOM FRESH™ grape varieties across its regions. The company stated that its ownership structure, which includes key members of the leadership team, is intended to reinforce long-term alignment and operational accountability.
“Buyers want continuity and accountability,” said Oliver Sill, Vice President of Sales at Vista Vineyards. “Our leadership team has worked together for years across these regions. Now we’re operating as one company, with clear execution and responsibility behind every shipment.”
Vista Vineyards Regional Production Strategy
Vista Vineyards’ production calendar is structured to maintain supply continuity:
- California (July–December): Domestic acreage supporting peak U.S. production
- South America (November–April): Complementary growing operations extending supply beyond North America
- Mexico (May–July): Licensed partner growers operating under Vista’s proprietary variety sales rights
According to the company, this structure supports consistent availability of premium green, red, and black seedless grapes throughout the year, with production decisions aligned to retail demand and shelf-life performance.
“We’ve spent years building relationships and infrastructure across these regions,” said Kevin Andrew, CEO of Vista Vineyards. “This structure lets us operate the way we’ve always believed the business should run — with ownership, accountability, and a long-term view.”
Portfolio Development and Investment Support
Vista Vineyards’ portfolio includes proprietary brands such as Autumncrisp®, Sweet Globe™, Sweet Celebration™, Scarlotta Seedless®, Sweet Sapphire™, Candy Hearts™, Candy Snaps™, Berry Snaps™, and other licensed varieties. The company indicated that retail partners work directly with its leadership team to develop seasonal and year-round supply programs.
The company continues to invest in established proprietary varieties and new releases from its intellectual property pipeline, including Sugra-60®, Sugra-62®, and Sugra-63®.
Farmers Gate, a New York-based agricultural investment platform, sponsored the establishment of Vista Vineyards. “Vista represents a compelling opportunity to vertically integrate our existing table grape platform, drive long-term growth, and create secure, scalable supply programs,” said Dan Fabian, Partner at Farmers Gate.
