BRANDT Appoints New International Leader

BRANDT has announced that Mauricio Andrião will join the company as Vice President effective September 1, 2025. In this role, Andrião will oversee BRANDT’s operations outside the U.S. and Canada and will chair the newly established International Board of Managers. He will report directly to the BRANDT Executive Team.


Leadership Transition and Responsibilities

Andrião will succeed Ramon Georgis, the current VP, International, who is set to retire on December 31, 2025. Andrião and Georgis will collaborate to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities. Rick Brandt, President and CEO of BRANDT, commented, “BRANDT has been working and selling products internationally for more than 30 years and I think Mauricio will provide the business with a real shot in the arm in terms of leadership, accountability and focus. In his new role, Andrião will direct the growth and strategic development of BRANDT International, including the restructuring of international operations into defined geographic regions while maintaining the company’s culture.


International Board of Managers

The newly formed International Board of Managers, which Andrião will chair, includes BRANDT’s international equity partners: Wladimir Chaga (BRANDT Brasil), Manuel Gonzalez and Lucia Cepeda (BRANDT Europe), and Isak Le Roux (BRANDT Africa). Reporting to the Executive Team, the board will help shape BRANDT International’s strategic objectives and monitor progress toward company goals.


Andrião’s Background and Experience

Andrião brings nearly 20 years of experience in the biologicals and specialty fertilizer industry, primarily at Stoller (now Corteva). His international experience spans Brazil, South Africa, and Europe, where he held leadership roles including General Manager of Stoller South Africa and Europe, and Biological Marketing Leader EMEA for Corteva Agriscience.

He holds an Executive MBA from Fundesem Business School (Spain) and an MSc. in Horticulture and Agronomy from the University of the State of Sao Paulo. Born in Brazil, Andrião holds both Brazilian and Spanish citizenship and will be based in Elche, Spain, with an office at BRANDT’s global headquarters in Tampa, Florida.
