Helios AI Announces Seed Funding and Product Launch
Helios AI announced the close of a $4.7 million seed funding round led by Collide Capital, with additional participation from S&P Global Ventures, Stray Dog Capital, Angeles VC, Equity Alliance, and Supply Change Capital. The funding will support the company’s expansion and hiring efforts.
“For the first time, procurement leaders can forecast prices and anticipate climate and supply risk—all in one affordable system,” said Francisco Martin-Rayo, Co-Founder and CEO of Helios AI.
Introduction of Helios Horizon
The company also unveiled Helios Horizon, which it describes as the first multi-agent AI system designed for food supply chains. The platform integrates distinct datasets and tasks, coordinated by a supervising agent, to generate tailored business reports.
Martin-Rayo added, “It’s like having a team of Bloomberg analysts in your pocket 24/7.”
Capabilities of the New Platform
Helios Horizon covers more than 75 agricultural commodities and 2,500 price series. Users can request forecasts such as seasonal outlooks for cocoa or soybeans and receive comprehensive reports within seconds. The platform builds on Helios AI’s price forecasting models, introduced earlier this year, which the company states are five times more accurate than competitors.
Accessibility and Market Reach
Helios Horizon is available starting at $299 per month, a price point intended to make advanced forecasting accessible to small and mid-sized businesses.
“Previously, businesses needed teams of highly paid consultants and weeks of time to run analyses on specific food products and predict future impacts on their supply chains,” Martin-Rayo said. “Now, with Helios Horizon we are democratizing access to these insights.”
Investor Perspectives
The seed round reflects investor confidence in Helios AI’s technology and market positioning.
“What excites us about Helios AI is their ability to combine deep technical talent with a huge, underserved opportunity,” said Brian Hollins, Founder and Managing Partner at Collide Capital. “Helios AI levels the playing field for smaller food companies, unlocking enterprise-grade insights that have historically been out of reach.”
