Consolidating the scientific sources required to maximize manufacturing is their shared goal.
On December 6th, Gilles Dreyfus, President and Co-Founder of Jungle, and Philippe Choquet, General Manager of UniLaSalle, attended the official introduction of this cooperation on the campus of UniLaSalle Rouen.
“We like how these address topics that need cross-disciplinary thinking. It is a structure that enables us to continuously align our intelligence. They are based on our technical platforms, such as the most recent “Food & Agri CityLab,” and they draw on the knowledge of our academics “said Philippe Choquet, UniLaSalle’s director general.
“The purpose of Jungle is to guarantee the supply of plant harvests for the food, cosmetics, and fragrance industries. One of the solutions for agriculture of the future is Jungle’s vertical farming idea. We collaborate with UniLaSalle on projects and have the same language when it comes to research and development concerns “Gilles Dreyfus, president and co-founder of Jungle, emphasized this point.
“In light of this, it was a clear decision to join the higher education and research institution UniLaSalle with the vertical farm specialist Jungle. Consolidating the scientific sources required to optimize manufacturing under regulated conditions is the shared goal. Studying environmental aspects, choosing and analyzing performances, and contrasting technical and economic data are all necessary for more depth.” The university comments
