Women In Agribusiness Now Accepts 2023 Scholarship Program

Women in Agribusiness (WIA) has announced that it is now accepting applications for the 2023 WIA Scholarship program. The program is aimed at full-time students enrolled in accredited colleges or universities, either as undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral candidates, pursuing a career in agribusiness. The scholarships help defray the cost of attending the annual Women in Agribusiness Summit, which will take place in Nashville from September 26-28, 2023.

Since its inception in 2014, the WIA Scholarship program has helped more than 125 students develop their careers in the agribusiness industry. The program is funded by industry businesses such as Cargill, CHS, and Smithfield. Last year, over 20 industry businesses sponsored the program. To apply for the scholarship, applicants need to submit a resume, headshot, and a statement detailing their educational and career goals and how attending the WIA Summit will benefit them. The application deadline is July 1, 2023.

The WIA Scholarship program is an excellent opportunity for students to connect with industry leaders, participate in educational sessions, and explore career opportunities in agribusiness. In addition, it provides students with financial assistance to attend the Women in Agribusiness Summit and helps them gain valuable insights into the agribusiness industry.

The WIA Summit is the premier event for women in the agribusiness industry, providing a platform for networking, learning, and professional development. The event brings together women from all aspects of the industry, including agribusiness, finance, food production, and technology. The scholarship program is a crucial part of the WIA Summit, as it allows students to participate in the event, learn from industry leaders, and build their professional network.
