Allied Biofuels Signs Logistics Deal for SAF Exports
At the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum, Allied Biofuels FE LLC signed a Logistics Cooperation Agreement with Pro Logistic Services SIA, a Eurasian multimodal logistics operator, to establish the international export framework for moving SAF and e-SAF from Allied Biofuels' project site in Uzbekistan to markets across Europe, the UAE and beyond. Under the agreement, Pro Logistic Services will design and implement integrated multimodal logistics solutions covering rail tank car operations, port handling, freight forwarding and marine delivery.
Export Routes to Europe and the UAE
Pro Logistic Services operates a fleet of more than 4,000 wagons and holds direct official forwarder contracts with the national railways of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Turkmenistan and Lithuania, with an operational presence spanning ten countries. For UAE-bound volumes, product will move by rail from Miskin Station through the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route to the Georgian Black Sea ports of Poti or Batumi, then by marine tanker through the Black Sea, the Mediterranean and the Suez Canal to Fujairah. European deliveries will run by rail from Miskin Station to the Port of Riga, Pro Logistic Services' home port, with onward marine distribution to ports including Hamburg.
Part of a $6.08 Billion Uzbekistan Project
The logistics programme will be developed alongside the project's engineering, production planning and offtake activities. It builds on Allied Biofuels' broader US$6.08 billion SAF and e-SAF project in Uzbekistan, which is backed by a Presidential Decree and a binding offtake memorandum of understanding with Uzbekistan Airports.
