The fund is designed to propel innovation in sustainable food solutions, helping startups develop transformative technologies for a sustainable future.

The six startups funded through GFIF II offer a range of solutions for pressing challenges in food sustainability and health:

  • BiomeMega (Australia): Developing sustainable omega fatty acids from probiotic bacteria for applications in food, animal nutrition, and cosmeceuticals.
  • Future Biome (Argentina & Uruguay): Innovating precision prebiotics customized for individual microbiomes, targeting chronic inflammation and other health issues.
