CropX Technologies Nets $30M in Series C Led By Aliaxis SA

CropX Technologies (website), a global pioneer in digital agronomic farm management, has announced the successful conclusion of a $30 million Series C investment transaction. Aliaxis SA, a world pioneer in innovative fluid management systems offering water and energy access, led the fundraising round. Edaphon, Finistere Ventures, NTT Finance Corporation, OurCrowd, Reinke Irrigation, Yair Shamir, and Victrix are the other investors in the round.

CropX’s agronomic farm management system has been designed to support farmers in growing more crops with fewer inputs, including water, energy, chemicals, and time. With agriculture accounting for roughly 70% of total freshwater withdrawals globally, efficient water usage in agriculture is becoming increasingly important. CropX’s irrigation planning system is designed to conserve irrigation water and boost crop yields while optimizing energy and fertilizer usage.

CropX will utilize the investment to expand on its two growth pillars: the continuous development of breakthrough capabilities for its agronomic farm management system and the acquisition of firms with complementary technologies and market reach. In addition, due to this relationship, Aliaxis and CropX will continue to engage closely in the field of data-driven precision irrigation.

“Completing this funding is a huge support from our investors of the value that we add to our stakeholders from customers, shareholders, and the positive impact on farms worldwide,” CropX CEO Tomer Tzach said. “We are happy to be one of the ag-tech consolidation pioneers, bringing a comprehensive, powerful, and easy solution to farmers and agribusinesses.”

“Sustainable water management is at the center of what we do at Aliaxis,” said Eric Olsen, CEO of Aliaxis. CropX is the industry leader in more innovative irrigation systems for agriculture. We are excited to expand our collaboration to help farmers conserve water while sustainably enhancing crop productivity and food production.”

“CropX real-time field data and agronomic expertise support sustainable farm management and greater output to restore soil systems while still feeding an expanding population,” said Vincent Vliebergh, Managing Partner of Edaphon. Aliaxis’ contribution of industrial and research skills, as well as market access, is significant.”
