CJB Applied Technologies, a contract chemical development company, recently welcomed Dr. Brian Sook as their new Senior Formulation Chemist. With a wealth of experience in the industry, Dr. Sook joins CJB from Arxada, LLC (formerly Lonza Inc.), where he served as Research Project Manager for their crop protection business. Before Arxada, Dr. Sook held various roles with increasing responsibilities at Clariant Corporation, Arysta LifeScience, Stepan Company, and BioLab, Inc.
Jim Loar, Commercial Director of CJB Applied Technologies, expressed enthusiasm about Dr. Sook joining the CJB family. He believes Dr. Sook’s knowledge and expertise will significantly enhance the company’s formulations and product development team. As part of CJB’s ongoing commitment to addressing customer needs, the company looks forward to expanding its staff and enhancing its laboratory, analytical, and pilot plant capacity and capabilities throughout 2023. Dr. Sook holds a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Kansas and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Georgia State University. Given his new role, Dr. Sook and his family will relocate from Cumming, GA, to Valdosta, GA, home of CJB companies.
