Farmsent Superapp Brings Web3 Tools to the Farming Sector
Farmsent has announced the launch of its Superapp—a decentralized, non-custodial mobile application designed to support farmers with digital tools for managing commodity sales, payments, and microtransactions. The app enables farmers to retain full control over their digital assets while offering accessibility through login methods like email and Google accounts, powered by Arcana’s wallet abstraction SDK.
“Our vision at Farmsent has always been to empower farmers by bringing them directly into the modern economic landscape,” said Sim Khela, Co-founder of Farmsent. “The Farmsent Superapp, with its intuitive design and robust Web3 integrations, is a monumental step towards achieving that.”
Simplified Access and Identity with .grow Domains
The app integrates .grow Web3 domains to simplify wallet addresses and enable more user-friendly transactions. “The integration of .grow domains into the Farmsent Superapp is a perfect example of how Web3 domains create a truly user-friendly and inclusive internet,” said Sandy Carter, COO of Unstoppable Domains.
One beta user, Budi, a farmer in Indonesia, shared: “Before, crypto wallets seemed very complicated… With the Farmsent Superapp, I just log in with my email, and it’s so easy to manage my sales and receive payments.”
Data, Transparency, and Expansion Goals For Farmsent
Farmsent’s platform incorporates real-time data from sensors and Decentralized Product Passports (DePPs) to provide greater transparency in crop management. Already serving over 200,000 farmers, the company plans to reach 2 million by 2026.
Mayur Relekar, Founder of Arcana, added: “By abstracting away the complexities of traditional crypto, Farmsent is pioneering financial inclusion for a vital global industry.”
