Moolec Science to ring NASDAQ bell

Moolec Science SA (NASDAQ: MLEC), a science-based food ingredient company focused on producing animal proteins in plants through Molecular Farming, announced today that company representatives will ring the Nasdaq Stock Market closing bell to celebrate the commencement of trading on January 3, 2023.

Moolec Science is a pioneer in the Molecular Farming movement for food, and is considered as one of the first companies of its kind to be listed on Nasdaq. CEO Gastón Paladini stated that this milestone is a significant step in the company’s growth and expansion, providing increased visibility and access to the global capital markets for future developments. Moolec Science Ltd has completed a business combination with LightJump Acquisition Corporation, a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company. The company is now a Luxembourg-based company and its ordinary shares and warrants will begin trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker symbols “MLEC” and “MLECW” respectively. The company’s CEO, Gastón Paladini, said that this is a step closer towards building a more resilient and sustainable food system, using science in food to set up a better future. The company will ring the closing bell at Nasdaq on January 17, 2023, to celebrate the commencement of trading.
