John Keppler is the Executive Chairman of Enviva Inc. (NYSE: EVA), the leading global manufacturer of sustainable wood pellets, a renewable and reliable alternative to coal and other fossil fuels. As a co-founder and ex-CEO of Enviva, Keppler has been instrumental in transforming the company from a small startup to a global industry leader. Keppler is a seasoned professional in the sustainability and fossil fuel alternatives industries. He serves on the Board of the Sustainable Biomass Program (SBP), a unique certification scheme for wood biomass used for industrial, large-scale energy production. Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) recognized Keppler’s exemplary achievements as an Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2021 National Award winner. Keppler also has a history with RedSea, having served as a Senior Adviser to the company.
