The LifeLine Group Launches Under Turnspire Capital Partners and AgraMarke Partnership

Turnspire Capital Partners LLC announced that an affiliate has acquired LifeLine Foods LLC and ICM Biofuels LLC, merging the two businesses to create The LifeLine Group. The food division will continue to operate as LifeLine Foods, while the biofuels arm will be renamed LifeLine Biofuels.

Turnspire partnered with AgraMarke Quality Grains, Inc., a cooperative of Missouri corn farmers, to form the new group. The collaboration aims to enhance the region’s agricultural economy while advancing innovation in food ingredients and renewable energy production.

The LifeLine Group to Drive Integration and Efficiency

Headquartered in St. Joseph, Missouri, the newly formed company combines corn-based ingredient manufacturing and biofuel production under one structure. The food operation produces cornstarch, masa, and related products, while LifeLine Biofuels utilizes starch streams from the food division to create renewable fuels and other low-carbon products.

Abel S. Osorio, Partner at Turnspire, said: “We are thrilled to unify the LifeLine platform under a shared vision for growth. The LifeLine Group operates at the intersection of food and renewable energy, where we see opportunities to enhance performance, expand capabilities, and build long-term value.”

Jeremy Bezdek Appointed CEO of The LifeLine Group

Turnspire has appointed Jeremy Bezdek as President and Chief Executive Officer of The LifeLine Group. With more than 26 years of experience at Koch Industries, Bezdek previously led the Flint Hills Resources biofuels division and served as a Managing Director within Koch’s investment arm.

“I appreciate the confidence that Turnspire has placed in me and the exceptional LifeLine team,” said Bezdek. “Together we will build on The LifeLine Group’s strong foundation to create a best-in-class platform.”

AgraMarke’s Continued Role and Industry Collaboration

AgraMarke Quality Grains, which founded LifeLine in 2001, remains a core partner within The LifeLine Group. The cooperative’s involvement supports its mission of delivering value to growers and reinforcing local agricultural communities.

Chuck Bebermeyer, President of AgraMarke, commented: “We take great pride in LifeLine’s history and its role in supporting growers, customers, and communities. In partnership with Turnspire, we will continue to strengthen The LifeLine Group’s legacy of innovation, quality, and growth.”
