Abundia Global Impact Group Secures $10 Million Credit Facility

Abundia Global Impact Group secured a $10 million credit facility from Bower Family Holdings, LLC, its largest shareholder, carrying a 10% annual interest rate over a two-year term. The company drew an initial $6.5 million under the facility, with the remaining tranches to be released based on the company’s capital allocation priorities rather than automatically.

“This Facility is a deliberate action that fortifies our balance sheet and protects shareholder value, as we prudently manage our long-term financial approach,” said Ed Gillespie, Chief Executive Officer of Abundia Global Impact Group. Gillespie said the tranche structure gives the company capital access for disciplined management of its balance sheet.

Facility Repays Convertible Note Due 2027

Proceeds from the facility will go toward repaying an outstanding Senior Secured Convertible Promissory Note originally due to Abundia Financial in June 2027, along with funding working capital needs.

Company Flags Possible Stock Buyback Program

Abundia Global Impact Group said the facility could also support a stock buyback program, which would require authorization from its board of directors before proceeding.

Abundia Global Impact Group Strengthens Balance Sheet

The company frames the facility as part of a broader effort to simplify its capital structure while it continues to build out its low-carbon energy and waste-to-value operations. Abundia Global Impact Group, Inc. is headquartered in Houston, Texas, and trades on NYSE American under the ticker AGIG. The company converts waste plastics and biomass into drop-in fuels and low-carbon chemical feedstocks at its flagship Cedar Port project on the Gulf Coast, which the company has said gives it proximity to feedstock supply chains and end markets. The company’s public listing traces to Houston American Energy’s acquisition of Abundia Global Impact Group, LLC, completed around July 2025. Abundia did not disclose additional terms of the credit facility beyond the interest rate and drawdown schedule.
