FarmRaise Launches Passport to Cut the Cost of Farm Data Collection

FarmRaise and Avalo have announced a partnership to support the execution and scaling of Avalo's cotton innovation program.

Key Takeaways

  • FarmRaise launched FarmRaise Passport, an enterprise record system letting farmers connect their farm management systems and bank accounts once and share that data across multiple programs.
  • CEO Jayce Hafner said the platform lets programs like conservation cost-share, Scope 3 reporting and 45Z tax credits “finally scale” because per-program data costs have collapsed.
  • The platform uses AI to automatically parse, structure and link farm data to source documents, replacing manual surveys, calls and on-farm visits.
  • The company reported a 96% successful data-sharing rate among farmers in recent enrollment cycles using Passport.
  • FarmRaise Passport now has twelve program partners, including Blue Diamond Growers and Avalo, spanning millions of acres, and supports the Farm Service Agency’s farmer-facing tools.

FarmRaise Launches Passport for One-Time Farm Data Sharing

FarmRaise launched FarmRaise Passport, an enterprise record system that lets farmers connect their farm management systems and bank accounts once, then share that data across multiple programs rather than re-submitting it for each one.

“Connect your records once, enter data once, and your Passport works for you. Because the cost of running a program on that data just collapsed, programs like conservation cost-share, Scope 3, and 45Z can finally scale,” said Jayce Hafner, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of FarmRaise.

AI Cuts Manual Work From Program Enrollment

The platform uses AI to automatically parse, structure and link farm data points to their source documents, replacing the surveys, phone calls and on-farm visits that have historically driven farm program administration. FarmRaise reported a 96% successful data-sharing rate among farmers in recent enrollment cycles using Passport, compared with the industry standard of manual, form-by-form data extraction.

Platform Supports Cost-Share, Scope 3 and 45Z Programs

The Passport is built to support cost-share and conservation delivery programs, Scope 3 supply-chain emissions reporting, and 45Z feedstock tax credit claims that require field-level evidence.

FarmRaise Passport Reaches Twelve Program Partners

FarmRaise said it works with twelve grower cooperatives, government agencies and supply-chain partners spanning millions of acres, including Blue Diamond Growers and Avalo. The company also provides farmer-facing digital tools for the Farm Service Agency.
