Bonduelle Group, the French vegetable and pulse producer, reported total sales of €2,186.2 million for fiscal year 2025-2026, the 12 months ended June 30, 2026. Sales were up 0.4% on a like-for-like basis but down 0.8% on reported figures compared with the prior fiscal year, as currency effects weighed on the reported total.
Fourth-quarter sales came in at €548.0 million, down 1.3% on reported figures and 0.5% like-for-like compared with the same quarter last year.
Europe Growth Offsets Declines Outside the Region
Bonduelle’s Europe zone, which made up 62.8% of the group’s activity for the year, grew 1.3% on both reported and like-for-like figures. Within that region, the Eurasia, Export and Mercosur markets grew 8.7% like-for-like and 13.6% on reported figures.
Sales outside Europe fell 1.0% like-for-like for the year. North America proved the weakest market, with sales down 5.6% like-for-like as Bonduelle pointed to inflationary pressure, a challenging consumer environment and several agricultural crises affecting raw material availability, though the region’s food service channel grew 9.4%.
Canned and Frozen Sales Grow, Fresh Processed Declines
By product line, Bonduelle’s canned food sales rose 4.6% to €1,119.9 million and frozen food sales rose 2.3% to €305.1 million for the year. Fresh processed sales fell 8.8% to €761.2 million, which Bonduelle attributed to competitive pressure and lost retail listings, though the category returned to growth in the fourth quarter.
Bonduelle Trims Profit Outlook for the Year
Bonduelle said current operating income for fiscal 2025-2026 is expected to come in slightly below the revised €80 million target the company set in a May 5, 2026 announcement. The company cited pricing pressure tied to large-scale Chinese sweet corn imports, competition in the private-label segment across Europe and the United States, and the ongoing crisis in the Middle East. Bonduelle is scheduled to report full annual results on October 2, 2026.
