BranValt Takes Over the Bushel Plus Name
A Brandon, Manitoba-based maker of harvest optimization technology, Bushel Plus Ltd., has finished transitioning to a new global brand: BranValt. First announced back in January 2026, the switch took effect on August 10, 2026, and now touches every part of the company, from operations and its dealer network to communications and digital platforms worldwide.
The company’s roots trace back to a tool built for measuring grain loss behind the combine. These days, operating as BranValt, it sells harvest optimization products in more than 45 countries via a network of dealers and industry partners.
“BranValt reflects both our current capabilities and our long-term vision,” said Marcel Kringe, Founder and CEO of BranValt. “By bringing our innovations, knowledge, and global reach together under a single identity, we are strengthening our ability to help farmers protect every bushel and improve profitability at harvest.”
Betting on a Growing Harvest Optimization Market
Behind the rebrand lies an expanding market for harvest optimization tools. According to the firm, that growth traces back to rising labor costs and shortages, plus farms’ increasing reliance on GPS, automation, sensors, and data analytics.
“Harvest is becoming increasingly measurable and connected,” Kringe said. “Farmers want to know where losses are occurring, how their combines are performing, and what tools will help them capture more of the crop. The growth of this category reflects a clear shift toward using technology and data to make every harvest pass more efficient and profitable.”
Same Team, Same Products Under the BranValt Name
Nothing changes on the product side after the switch. BranValt continues offering its SmartPan System, MAD Concaves, and MiniCombine lines, plus Harvest Academy, its training program for farmers and agricultural equipment professionals. According to Kringe, the same team stays in place, supporting both the products and the dealer relationships customers already count on. Existing dealers continue carrying BranValt’s lineup.
