Clarke Energy to Build 4 MW Trigeneration Plant in Côte d’Ivoire
Clarke Energy, part of Rehlko, has been chosen by Capraci to design and deliver a 4-megawatt natural gas trigeneration power plant at a production site in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. The selection was announced on July 29, 2026. Capraci is one of the country’s leading pasta manufacturers.
Trigeneration lets a single plant produce electricity, heat and cooling from the same fuel source. For Capraci, that means on-site power alongside process energy tuned to pasta production.

Power, Heat and Cooling for Pasta Production
The system will generate electricity while also supplying 130°C superheated water for pasta processing and 11°C chilled water for cooling. It runs on INNIO’s Jenbacher gas engines and includes a long-term service agreement covering operation and maintenance. On-site energy supply of this kind is used at food and agriculture processing plants that need steady power and heat.
Clarke Energy Expands Its West Africa Presence
The contract adds to Clarke Energy’s footprint as a distributed-energy provider in West Africa. The company employs more than 1,400 staff and operates over 10 GW of power generation capacity worldwide, including 1.4 GW from biogas technologies.
