Doktar Raises €7.5 Million to Advance Digital Tools for Regenerative Agriculture
Doktar, an ag-tech company focused on integrating data-driven technologies with sustainable agriculture, has announced the close of a €7.5 million funding round. The round was co-led by the European Circular Bioeconomy Fund (ECBF) and Pymwymic, with continued participation from existing investor Diffusion Capital Partners (DCP).
Founded in 2017, Doktar provides a full-farm digital platform that combines IoT, AI-powered analytics, and decision-support tools. The company aims to offer end-to-end traceability and measurable environmental outcomes for farming operations.
Focus on Integrated Sustainability and Digital Agriculture
Doktar’s platform supports sustainability reporting and regenerative agriculture through its Climate Sustainability Impact (CSI) system, which enables farms and agribusinesses to monitor, verify, and implement climate-resilient practices.
Currently headquartered in the Netherlands with operations in Turkey, the company works through a network of partners in over 10 countries, covering a combined area of 250,000 hectares. Its client base includes six of the ten largest food and beverage companies globally, which use Doktar’s services to track progress toward 2030 sustainability targets.
Investor Support and Industry Interest
Investors emphasized Doktar’s ability to deliver scalable, impact-driven solutions.
“We invested in Doktar because their approach uniquely combines agronomic expertise, scalable technology, and measurable environmental outcomes,” said Isabelle Laurencin, Partner at ECBF.
Rogier Pieterse, Partner at Pymwymic, noted the company’s dual support for farmers and food companies: “We believe Doktar has a unique position in helping both groups make smarter choices from an efficiency and impact perspective.”
Merve Akgun, Partner at Diffusion Capital Partners, highlighted the company’s continued traction: “We are proud to continue supporting their global expansion as they bring scalable solutions that create both environmental impact and business value.”
Doktar Global Expansion and Market Development
The new capital will be used to strengthen Doktar’s platform and expand operations, with a focus on Europe, North America, and South America. Co-founders Tanzer Bilgen and Selim Ucer noted that agriculture is under pressure to balance productivity with environmental performance, and that digital solutions like Doktar’s are intended to help address this need.
“This investment enables us to accelerate our expansion and meet growing demand for integrated, data-driven agricultural solutions,” said Bilgen and Ucer.
Doktar plans to continue developing its digital infrastructure to support measurable outcomes across supply chains while aligning with global sustainability initiatives.
