BASF Digital Farming has officially launched xarvio FIELD MANAGER For Grapes, marking a strategic expansion into digital viticulture. The platform, tailored for the 2025/26 growing season, will support wine grape growers across France, Spain, and Türkiye, covering more than 100 varieties—including Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay.
“This distinctive, smart and cost-effective digital solution empowers grape growers, viticulturists and the broader wine industry to drive measurable improvements in productivity, profitability, and sustainability,” said Konstantin Kretschun, Global Head of BASF Digital Farming.
Data-Driven Models Strengthen Crop Management
Developed in close collaboration with growers, the new version of xarvio FIELD MANAGER integrates Hort@’s Decision Support System (DSS), providing specialized models for plant growth, irrigation, nutrition, pests, and diseases. These models are delivered through intuitive dashboards that simplify complex agronomic data and support timely decision-making.
