OrbitAI brings together a network of specialized AI agents designed to support decisions across the food value chain, delivering region-specific, actionable recommendations in natural language. In one example Cropin shared, a sourcing manager asked about soybean supply risk in Maharashtra over the next 90 days; OrbitAI reportedly responded within 30 seconds with a high risk rating, a projected shortfall of 12-15% driven by moisture deficit, and a recommendation to begin buffer procurement from Madhya Pradesh in week three. In another example, a potato farmer in Gansu, China asked whether the crop was healthy; the platform flagged a high disease risk based on humidity and temperature conditions favorable to late blight, and recommended a fungicide application within 48 hours.

OrbitAI is developed on Google’s AI ecosystem, using Gemini Models for foundation AI reasoning, the Agent Development Kit for autonomous agent orchestration, the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform for model training and inference, BigQuery for large-scale agricultural data analytics, Google Cloud for global deployment, and WeatherNext for climate and weather intelligence.

Cropin said this lets enterprises and developers integrate OrbitAI’s crop intelligence, climate signals, geospatial data and agronomic knowledge graph directly into their existing AI workflows.
