Eurasia Group Kazakhstan and GeoPard Agriculture Join Forces to Promote Sustainable Agriculture in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan

In a landmark deal signed in April 2023, Eurasia Group Kazakhstan and GeoPard Agriculture partnered up with the collective aim of enhancing the sustainability of agriculture in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The partnership seeks to introduce precision farming solutions and optimize crop production throughout the agricultural year, thus reinforcing the agricultural sector's viability and profitability in the region.

The strategic collaboration is designed to bolster local farmers seeking innovative, practical methods to streamline and automate their crop production processes, improve their business profitability, and decrease their environmental footprint.

“We are thrilled to introduce our precision and sustainable agriculture solution to the Kazakh market,” announced Vladimir Klinkov, Managing Director and Co-founder of GeoPard Agriculture. GeoPard Agriculture harnesses the power of cutting-edge technologies, including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and comprehensive field data analysis. Since 2012, the GeoPard team has been dedicated to agriculture and developing digital solutions. Now, their advanced precision farming expertise and solutions are being brought to the lands of Kazakhstan.

GeoPard's technology empowers farmers to manage productivity, analyze factors impacting field heterogeneity and yield, pinpoint locations for soil sampling based on productivity zones, and carry out field monitoring and scouting. It also enables the creation of variable rate application (VRA) maps for seeding, fertilization, crop protection products, and growth regulator applications.

Evgeny Chesnokov, Director of the Agricultural Management Division of Eurasia Group Kazakhstan, lauded GeoPard Agriculture's unique solution. He stated, “It offers comprehensive analytics across numerous data layers, leveraging yield maps, soil analysis, air moisture, and vegetation moisture indicators over multiple years.” The software utilizes 35 years of NDVI satellite image data for each field, allowing farmers to add additional indicators at their discretion. “The program analyses field area data and productivity, providing prescriptive instructions for differentiated seed and fertilizer application. This approach will facilitate seed and fertilizer savings and enhance yield and efficiency of agricultural businesses,” Chesnokov added.

Following a successful testing period, Kazakh farmers are already actively implementing the GeoPard Agriculture solution, indicating a promising future for sustainable and precision agriculture in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
