Ideanomics' Subsidiary Solectrac Unveils New e25H Electric Tractor

With its electric tractors, Solectrac, a California-based division of the international EV-focused business Ideanomics, vows to transform the agricultural sector. The business recently unveiled the e25H, an updated model of their ground-breaking e25 electric tractor. Together with the existing e25G, it will be available for purchase in the second half of 2023 and has a hydrostatic transmission, a mid-PTO, and independent PTO operation.

The e25H electric tractor is a potent, silent, and emission-free machine that offers independent PTO operation and the choice of a mid-mount mower. Customers benefit from the improved operating performance, the option to employ more front and mid-mounted implements, and simple direction changes at the pedal press. With a loader, backhoe, and rear PTO operation with a rotary cutter, the e25H unit was successfully tested.

“The foundation of Solectrac is a straightforward belief: American farmers and ranchers deserve more than loud, polluting tractors powered by internal combustion engines. The e25’s achievement demonstrates the validity of our hypothesis, “Mani Iyer, CEO of Solectrac, remarked. So today, we’re planning to significantly improve our market-leading e25 electric tractor so that our clients may enjoy all the options and functionality of a comparable hydrostatic transmission diesel tractor with a lot less noise and no pollution.

In Solectrac’s Windsor site in California and North Carolina via its joint venture with Nolan Manufacturing, the e25H will be put together. The tractors will be made available by Solectrac through direct orders and its countrywide dealer network. With the assistance of Ideanomics and DLL, Solectrac hopes to grow its dealer network and make the switch to electric tractors for clients quicker, simpler, and more reasonably priced. About a Solectrac tractor vs. a diesel tractor, the company’s SolecSave app breaks down the total ownership cost and details state and federal incentive programs.

Solectrac aims to start producing the e75N in the second half of 2023 after selling a record-breaking 350 e25 electric tractors last year. In addition, the business has increased its production capacity and built a coast-to-coast national network of authorized dealers. The e25H represents a significant advancement for Solectrac in the agricultural sector, reaffirming its position as a pioneer in autonomous electric aircraft technology and highlighting its dedication to environmentally friendly agricultural methods.
