Star Properties Introduces “After The Rain” Condos

Star Properties has unveiled its latest residential development, “After The Rain” (ATR) condos, in Hong Kong. This pioneering initiative seamlessly integrates sustainable living with advanced agricultural technologies, providing residents with the convenience of farm-to-table produce right at home. The ATR project is designed to foster a sustainable urban lifestyle by incorporating sophisticated urban farming within its residential clubhouse.

Strategic Collaboration with CANNA

The ATR urban farm, a central feature of the residential clubhouse, showcases two specialized growing areas. The first area focuses on cultivating fruits such as strawberries, cucumbers, and tomatoes using CANNA’s Coco substrates and advanced drip irrigation systems. The second area is dedicated to a vertical garden designed for herbs and leafy greens, utilizing CANNA Aqua Vega nutrients. These CANNA products were selected for their superior quality and effectiveness in enhancing plant growth and productivity.

Enhanced Production and Direct Benefits to Residents

Him Chan, Operations Manager at Star Properties, expressed his enthusiasm for the ATR project and the role of CANNA products in its success. “Our goal is ambitious—producing 6 tons of crops annually in an urban setting. CANNA’s innovative products are crucial in achieving this, especially the CANNA Aqua line, which simplifies the growing process while ensuring consistent, high-quality plant development on hydroponic systems,” Chan stated.

Chan also highlighted the impressive outcomes achieved with CANNA BOOST, noting its ability to double the flowering rate of tomato plants, thereby significantly enhancing both yield and quality. The harvested crops are refrigerated and made available for residents to purchase on a weekly subscription plan, ensuring they enjoy the freshness and sustainability of farm-to-table produce right where they live.
